Bob Cook
Bob Cook co-founded Zinkin Entertainment & Sports Management with partner DeWayne Zinkin in 2001. Born in Sagus, California, Bob spent 14 years of his childhood traveling the world on a boat with his parents. He comes from a family with a long history of talent in sports and martial arts. His grandfather was a professional boxer and his father a noted black belt.

Bob found success as an undefeated MMA fighter, having fought his last fight in the UFC before deciding to retire due to injury. With his years training and love for the sport, Bob has dedicated himself to the MMA industry.
Bob co-founded the prestigious American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) in San Jose serving as Head Trainer and Manager. He trains most of the top fighters today in the MMA arena as well as managing, traveling and mentoring them. Because of his experience as a former fighter, Bob has unique “insiders” knowledge and understanding of his fighters, which makes him one of the most sought after trainers in the world.
Bob is extremely well-respected by the entire MMA industry for his tough workouts and intense dedication to his fighters. Intense enough to have earned him the nickname “Crazy Bob” because of the amount of time, self-sacrifice and tireless energy he gives to his guys. Bob assess his fighters individually and customizes a training regime for each one according to their style and strengths.
Another aspect of Zinkin Sports Management Bob handles is scouting potential upcoming MMA fighters. His keen eye for talented and dedicated fighters is one of the things that has helped catapult ZESM to the top of the industry.

Bob brings over 20 years of training experience with more than 10 years experience on the business side of MMA to Zinkin.
